Prerequisite Checker
SAPinst provides a tool called the Prerequisite Checker that will help Basis administrators
check if the operating system environment is set up correctly and compatible for the SAP
software installation. The path to call the Prerequisite Checker is SAP NetWeaver 7.0 | Soft-
ware Life-Cycle Options | Additional Preparation Options | Prerequisites Check.
Prerequisite Checker will present the screen shown in
Figure 6-5
.
Choose the services
that you need it to check, and click the Next button.
