Dual-Stack Installation (Example: PI Installation and MI Installation)
Process Integration (PI) 7.0 and 7.1 systems are mandatory dual-stack systems. During the
define parameter phase of the installation, AS ABAP, AS Java, and PI usage types are selec-
ted. Mobile Infrastructure (MI) is installed as a mandatory dual-stack as well.
Figure 6-4
shows the usage type selection of a PI 7.0 dual-stack installation.
