Oracle Universal Installer (OUI)
Oracle Universal Installer is used to install the Oracle Database software. This installs only
the Oracle binaries; the actual SAP database is created by the SAPinst tool. It is recommen-
ded to install the Oracle binaries ahead of the SAP software installation. If this is not done,
SAPinst will stop the install at the Oracle Database software installation phase and prompt
