Brian Deutsch
Former Jeollanam-do resident Brian Deutsch was an English instructor but better
known (at least in the foreign community) as the voice behind the “Brian in Jeol-
lanamdo” blog, which served as an informative guide to the region as well as an
excellent barometer of some of the issues facing Korea and foreign teachers on the
whole. The blog is still up and running at
