total deposition as predicted by SETRIC was quite close to the sediment
deposition by the SIC Model. Also the predicted sediment deposition for
the existing water and sediment inflow were fairly close to the measured
sediment deposition. The results strengthen the model's calibration and
validation by showing a close match between the simulated deposition
values and the measured values.
