Altering the Field Of View will now draw out the side of the image closer to the
screen, as shown in the following screenshot:
As you can see in the preceding screenshot, the effect is a little easier to see; altering
the FOV extenuates the angle and alters the perspective depth that is drawn.
An important point to note is the Plane Distance on the Screen
Space - Camera Canvas . The value for this has to be within the Near
and Far Clipping Planes settings for the Render Camera . Like any
other 3D object, if it is too near the camera or too far away it simply
won't be drawn.
However, the setting is also invaluable to set how deep into the 3D
scene the UI on the Canvas is when it is drawn. Have a play with it.
