relatively important and thus concentrations are significantly reduced from the
inlet ( x ¼
0) to the outlet ( x ¼ L ). With decreasing value for Da 1 , decay becomes
less relevant. Then the profile for advection and diffusion is approached, which is
the straight line representing constant concentration c ¼ c 0 (for the given boundary
conditions). The figure is produced in MATLAB
