who speaks English, this place is more of a hostel, with communal downstairs kitchen-dining
area and a few upstairs dorm rooms, somewhat cramped but with comfy mattresses and large
windows overlooking the village. You'll only want to stay here if you've arrived late at night
or you're waiting for an earl y d eparture. Can arrange transport to Colombia. Rates include
meals and a daily excursion. $50 /person
Cayos Limones
Offering perfect tranquillity (provided you don't coincide with a cruise ship stopover), the
gorgeous islands that comprise Cayos Limones are clustered east and northeast of El Por-
venir. Once dedicated to harvesting coconuts, they now function primarily as prime day-trip
destinations At other times, it's worth stopping overnight, allowing you to soak up the still-
ness by a campfire and admire the sparkling night sky.
