The following itineraries combine some of the most popular and the less well-known
attractions, covering the length and breadth of the isthmus, from idyllic Caribbean
beaches to steaming rainforest, taking in colonial forts, gourmet coffee farms, surf
breaks and mountain retreats.
THE GRAND TOUR
You could just about manage this itinerary in three weeks and indeed it's possible to visit sev-
eral sites as day-trips from Panama City, but for a richer experience take it at a more leisurely
pace.
