The safer and somewhat quieter districts of Bella Vista, Marbella and El Cangrejo, the hub of
the city's nightlife and commercial activity, have the densest concentration of accommoda-
tion. Though prices are generally higher in these areas - apart from the hostels - you're with-
in striking distance of most restaurants, bars, clubs, shops and casinos, and it's fairly safe to
stroll around at night.
