Duffy's Love Shack CARIBBEAN This is a fun and happening place
where you can mingle with the locals. As the evening wears on, the customers
become the entertainment, often dancing on tables or forming conga lines. Yes,
Duffy's also serves food. The restaurant is open air, with lots of bamboo and a
thatched roof over the bar. Even the menu appears on a bamboo stick, like an old-
fashioned fan. A standard American cuisine is spiced up with Caribbean flair. Start
with the honey-barbecued ribs and conch fritters, then move on to jerk chicken or
macadamia-nut mahimahi. After midnight, a late-night menu appears, mostly featur-
ing sandwiches. The bar business is huge, and the bartender is known for his lethal
rum drinks.

Come here for some of the juiciest burgers on the island, plus Caribbean specialties
such as conch in butter sauce, roast suckling pig, johnnycakes, plantains, rice and

reggae, reggae, and more reggae—is another draw.

The Old Stone Farmhouse AMERICAN/INTERNATIONAL Set in a wooded
valley close to the 11th hole of the Mahogany Run Golf Course, this restaurant dates
from the 1750s. It was created as a stable for a nearby Danish sugar plantation, and
the walls are more than 2 feet thick. Ceiling fans and breezes blowing through the
valley keep the place cool. For more than a quarter of a century, this restaurant has
been feeding golfers and those who love them from an eclectic menu that takes
