Gallows Point Resort This little resort has been a favorite with vacationers for
30 years. The first complex of buildings you see as you arrive at Cruz Bay is this
colony of condos just outside the town. Lying on 5 acres of lush landscaping, the
complex blends into its setting, a tropical landscape with island-style architecture.
You're within walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Cruz Bay. In all, there
are 15 well-furnished buildings, each structure with four one-bedroom suites, coming
with a full kitchen and spacious living area. The best views, of course, are in the
apartments on the upper level. Harborside villas tend to get more noise. The beach
nearby is small and rocky, so you may want to go farther afield for the sands. The
garden suites are one story with sunken living rooms. The property also includes
multilevel sunbathing decks. On-site is ZoZo's Ristorante (p. 125).
