They'd put everything on the carte bleue (credit or debit card) when shopping, and
only ever holiday in August.
They'd eat out a couple of times a week, go to the flicks once a month, work pre-
cisely 35 hours a week, and have two kids who have both been through university

French Kissing
Kissing is still the traditional way for French people to greet each other (although
the expression 'French kissing', as in with tongues, actually doesn't exist in French).
In Paris it is definitely two kisses: anything more is deemed affected, although
trendy 20-somethings and teenagers often swap three or four cheek-skimming
kisses just to be different. Travel south and the bisous (kisses) multiply, three being
the norm in Provence, and four in the Loire Valley.
To avoid any embarrassing moments, do as the French do and always start with
the right cheek.
