Centre Pompidou-Metz
The capital of the Lorraine region has long been known for its Gothic cathedral (
Click here ), but since 2010 there's been a new attraction in town. The Centre
Pompidou-Metz ( Click here ) is a northern offshoot of the Centre Pompidou in Par-
is. Like its sister institution, it presents major exhibitions of modern art, but it's worth
a visit simply for its outlandish architecture designed by architects Shigeru Ban and
Jean de Gastines.
