Cimetière du Père Lachaise
More sculpture garden than cemetery, this graveyard ( Click here ) in northeastern
Paris contains over 69,000 ornate tombs, including those belonging to Molière,
Chopin, Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison. Criss-crossed by wooded paths and wind-
ing walkways, it feels a world away from downtown Paris, and makes an ideal
refuge when the hustle and bustle of the city gets too much.
