Valencia's Aeropuerto de Manises ( 96 159 85 00) is 10km west of the city
centre along the A3, toward Madrid. It's served by metro lines 3 and 5.
Budget flights serve major European destinations such as Paris, Milan, Geneva,
Amsterdam and Brussels. Flights to/from Ireland and the UK include the following:

Ryanair Year round: London (Stansted). Summer only: Bournemouth, Bristol, Dublin, East

Avanza ( www.avanzabus.com ) operates hourly bus services to/from Madrid (€18
to €27, four hours).
ALSA ( www.alsa.es ) has up to 10 daily buses to/from Barcelona (€26 to €30, 4½
hours) and over 10 to Alicante (€21, 2½ hours), most passing by Benidorm (€14.50,
1¾ hours).
