Gourmet Fusion
Drinking
Fuelled by a large student population, Valencia's nightlife has a justified reputation
way beyond its borders.
The Barrio del Carmen has both the grungiest and grooviest collection of bars.
The other major area is around the university; Avenidas de Aragón and Blasco
Ibáñez and surrounding streets have enough bars and discotecas (clubs) to keep
you busy beyond sunrise.
Another zone well worth checking out is around the Mercado de Abastos, while in
summer the new port area and Malvarrosa leap to life.
