3-8pm Sat & Sun) On the northern slopes of town, you'll find a modest, yet beautiful,
mosque. Built in the 10th century, it suffered the usual fate of being converted to a
church (hence the religious frescoes), but the original vaulting and arches survived.
Sleeping
Toledo's plentiful accommodation is offset by the visiting tourists, especially from
July to September. Book ahead to avoid endless suitcase-trundling over cobbles.
