tapear (eat tapas) with an innovative selection of raciones that includes baked pota-
toes filled with wild mushrooms and prawns au gratin . The upstairs restaurant has

Getting There & Away
The train and bus stations lie on the western bank of Río Bernesga.
BUS From the bus station (Paseo del Ingeniero Sáez de Miera) there are daily
buses to Madrid (€22, 3½ hours) and Burgos (€14.10, 3¾ hours).
CAR & MOTORCYCLE Parking bays (€9 to €13 for 12 hours) are found in the
streets surrounding Plaza de Santo Domingo.
TRAIN Regular daily trains travel to Burgos (from €20.10, two hours), Oviedo (from
€18.80, two hours), Madrid (from €28.30, 4¼ hours) and Barcelona (from €68.40,
nine hours).
