one the most beautiful false-color Landsat images ever produced; it shows the intricate network of meandering
waterways in the classic fan-shaped delta. The inset image depicts details of the distributary system. The delta is a
highly protected wetland wilderness in a permafrost environment and is an important refuge and breeding ground
