Summary
We wanted to keep this chapter short on the cutting and drilling so as not to overwhelm you with a lot of
work. We also wanted to introduce the concept of counterboring and show you how the building plans
can offer up an occasional modification to a piece's final look.
In upcoming chapters, we'll cover the cutting and drilling of the remaining 15 pieces. By the time
you're done with Chapter 9, you'll have 17 pieces all ready to be bolted together to form the frame of
your 3D printer. So take a break. When you're ready to continue, Chapter 7 will show you the cuts and
drill holes for the next five pieces.
