There are quite a few parts in the building plans that have curved cuts applied to them. There's
a very good reason for this: Patrick, one of this topic's authors, used a CNC machine (instead of a table
saw) to cut out parts for his 3D printer. The CNC machine uses a milling bit that is round, which makes it
difficult to make 90 degree cuts in corners. But he also applies a bit of artistic flair to some of the pieces
by shaving away material that won't be missed when the machine is assembled.
