Table - Part C
The Table is a single piece with dimensions of 8-9/16” x 9-1/16”. You might want to write the dimensions
on the wood somewhere to indicate which side is of which length. This is important because Part C is
almost square and can fool the eye. Later you'll be drilling holes in this piece and it will be important to
drill those holes along the 8-9/16” side, not the 9-1/16 edge. Figure 4-4 shows Part C cut out and labeled.
Figure 4-4. Part C is the table (or work surface) of the 3D printer.
Figure 4-5 shows the table (shaded) between Parts A and B. Part C will actually move forwards and
backwards via a set of bearings and pulleys.
