Time to Print
Before you can print, however, you're going to need a 3D model. A great place to get things to print is at
www.thingyverse.com . The first “thing” you print will help you understand the calibration of the
machine. It's called the Calibration Cube and it can be found at www.thingiverse.com/thing:5573, as
shown in Figure 20-28.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and download the 20mm-box.stl file shown in Figure 20-29. An . stl
file is a watertight 3D model made in a CAD program, a special application used to design three-
dimensional objects (among other things).
