Push the Y-axis assembly all the way to the right. You want it as far from the motherboard as
possible so that the six-wire ribbon cable can be trimmed but still have the minimum length required to
connect to the motherboard. Use another plastic tie to hold the Extruder motor driver ribbon cable and
the RS-485 cable. You'll want to secure them to the bolt under the Z-axis motor mount, as shown in
Figure 17-17. Do not tighten the plastic tie just yet.

Next push these two cables through the opening of the first tie (used back for routing the Y- and Z-
axis cables down to the motherboard). Cut and crimp the second connector on the six-wire ribbon and
plug it into the port labeled A-axis on the motherboard, as seen in Figure 17-18. Plug in the RS-485 cable
into either of the two RS-485 ports, also shown in Figure 17-18.
