Carefully raise the 3D printer back up to its upright position. Next, you'll mount two more stepper
motor drivers for the Y and Z axes.
Attach the Y-Axis and Z-Axis Stepper Motor Drivers
You've probably noticed that there is one final plywood piece that you cut and drilled that still hasn't
been mounted: the Machine Back (Part O). You'll be mounting two additional stepper motor drivers to
it, but you'll first need to attach the Machine Back to the 3D printer. You can use two 1-1/4” machine
screws and barrel nuts to attach Part O to the left and right Upper Structural Sides or, as we've done in
Figure 16-9, you can use a hinge (or two) on one side and a single machine screw and barrel nut on the
other side to allow Part O to swing out, exposing the electronics components that will be mounted on it.
