Drill Press
Hands down, one of the most useful tools for building your 3D printer will be the drill press (Figure 2-9).
There are a lot of holes to drill into the plywood parts, and a drill press can help you drill these holes
accurately.

You can find inexpensive drill presses for around $80 to $100; the more expensive versions can run
up to $400 or more. If you're considering renting, look to pay around $50 to $75 per day.
You may be wondering whether you can drill these holes with your typical electric hand drill (or
battery powered drill) like the one in Figure 2-10.
