Use a transfer punch or drill bit to mark the location of the eight holes that you will use to bolt the
Strong-Tie bracket to Part K. Perform the same action on the other side—temporarily bolt on the first
Strong-Tie and place the edge of the second bracket against the edge of the bolted-on bracket to mark
the eight additional drill holes. Figure 9-16 shows the holes being marked for the first Strong-Tie.

The two Strong-Tie brackets will touch, as shown in Figure 9-17.
