Place the bracket so that the centerline you scratched on the metal lines up with the line that bisects
the 8-9/16” side. Also make certain the edge of the bracket is lined up perfectly with the line you drew
for the Edge of Rail. When you've got the bracket properly placed, use a center point punch or drill bit to
mark the eight holes that will be drilled to hold the bracket to Part C. Figure 9-12 shows this being done
on one side. Perform the same action on the opposite side.
