Next, drill the three smaller counterbore holes using a bit diameter of 9/16”. Drill these three
counterbore holes to a depth of 1/8” and then drill 1/4” holes centered in the four counterbore holes,
plus the remaining 1/4” holes indicated in the building plans. Figure 9-7 shows Part Q with the three
new 9/16” counterbore holes drilled along with all the 1/4” holes.
