Mark up Part P to indicate the waste material to be cut away. (It's easier to mark these lines before
any drilling is done, but you can also mark the cuts on the back of the piece—just make sure to draw
your lines reversed from the lines shown on the plans.)
Figure 9-4 shows the complete plywood Part P with all holes drilled and the cuts finished. The MDO
piece (cut using Patrick's CNC machine) is provided for comparison.
