Now, just follow along as we progress through the proper order to drill Part E. First, we'll drill two
pilot holes for the two counterbore holes that will be located at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions
(around the larger hole seen in the plans in Figure 7-23.) Drill the pilot holes using a 1/8” bit and then
drill the two counterbore holes seen in Figure 24 to a depth of 13/32” (or as close as you can get it). Look
closely at the figure and you can see the pilot holes inside the counterbore holes.
