All that's left is to drill the 1/4” holes on the edges of the piece for the bolts that will be screwed into
the barrel nuts. Mark a center line down both the left and right edges (the shorter 3-1/32” edges). We
recommend using a drill press to drill these holes because you want them as perfectly perpendicular to
the barrel nut holes as possible. Using a hand drill is possible, but just make certain you're drilling the
holes as close to perpendicular as you can. (The two holes we drilled into Part H in Figure 7-9 were done
by hand and are slightly off center, so we switched to a drill press shortly after this!) Figure 7-9 shows two
of the edge holes drilled.
