harbour and beyond. Avoid going on a windy day, when the seas can be rough.
Trixi Tours
Plaça dels Traginers 4; 1-hr/2-hr tour €25/45) operate around the Ciutat Vella, the waterfront
and much of the city centre (noon to 8pm daily March to November). They can take two
passengers on guided tours ranging from 30 minutes to three hours. You can find them in
front of La Catedral.

Bus Turístic
is a hop-on, hop-off service that stops at virtually all of the city's main sights.
Audio guides (in 10 languages) provide running commentary on the 44 stops on the three
different circuits. The service operates from Plaça de Catalunya and Plaça del Porta de la
Pau.
Tickets are available online and on the buses, and cost €27 (€16 for children from four to
12 years) for one day of unlimited rides, or €35 (€20 for children) for two consecutive days.
Buses run from 9am to 8pm (7pm in winter) and the frequency varies from every five to 25
minutes.
The two key routes take about two hours each; the blue route runs past La Pedrera on Pas-
seig de Gràcia and takes in La Sagrada Família, Park Gu
̈
ell and much of the Zona Alta (in-
cluding Pedralbes and Camp Nou). The red route also runs up Passeig de Gràcia and takes
in Port Vell, Port Olímpic and Montjuïc. The third (green route), from Port Olímpic to the
Fòrum, runs from April to September and takes 40 minutes. Other private companies run
similar services.

highlights of Barcelona tour (adult/child €59/30, departing at 10am) to a trip to Montserrat,
leaving Barcelona at 3pm and lasting about four hours (adult/child €47/23).
