Mercat de Sant Antoni A massive but largely tourist-free food market that also hosts a flea
market on Sunday.
Mercat de Santa Caterina La Ribera's bountiful food market, with its wavy colourful roof and
archaeological fragments from the 1400s.
Els Encants Vells A sprawling flea market with plenty of treasures and trash on the edge of
Poblenou.
Mercadillo de la Plaça de Sant Josep A colourful collection of artworks sold by local artists on
weekends in the Plaça de Sant Josep Oriol.

Port Antic A tiny weekend antiques market on the waterfront, at the foot of La Rambla.
Feria de Artesanía del Palau de Mar This waterfront market is a fine nautical place to browse
for handicrafts and souvenirs.

Parc de la Ciutadella Pretty landscaped grounds with a dramatic fountain, curious artwork, the
Catalan parliament building and a zoo.
Park Güell A green wonderland with fine views over the city and the surreal sculptural archi-
tecture courtesy of Gaudí.
Jardí Botànic One of Montjuïc's many lush gardens, this one full of Mediterranean flora as well
as plants from similar climates.
Parc de la Creueta del Coll Near Parc Güell, this is a family favourite with pool, snack bar and
trails.
Parc de Collserola A vast scrubby woodland with trails for bikers and runners and superb
views over the city.
