Barcelona's modern home for serious music lovers, L'Auditori puts on plenty of orchestral,
chamber, religious and other music. The ultramodern building (designed by Rafael Moneo)

This vast cinema complex screens movies in the original language on 15 screens, making
for plenty of choice. Aside from the screens, you'll find several cheerful eateries, bars and
the like to keep you occupied before and after the movies.
SHOPPING
Aside from several weekend markets and the mall mayhem of Maremàgnum,
there aren't many shopping options along the waterfront.

MAREMÀGNUM
Created out of largely abandoned docks, this buzzing shopping centre, with its bars, restaur-
ants and cinemas, is pleasant enough for a stroll virtually in the middle of the old harbour.
The usual labels are on hand, including the youthful Spanish chain Mango, mega-retailer
H&M and eye-catching fashions from Barcelona-based Desigual. Football fans will be
drawn to the paraphernalia at FC Botiga.
It's particularly popular on Sundays when most other stores in the city remain shuttered.
