A delightful addition to the Gothic quarter, Rasoterra cooks up first-rate vegetarian dishes in
a Zen-like setting with tall ceilings, low-playing jazz and fresh flowers on the tables. The
creative, globally influenced menu changes regularly and might feature Vietnamese-style
coconut pancakes with tofu and vegetables, beluga lentils with basmati rice, and pear and
goat cheese quesadillas. Good vegan and gluten-free options.

Peel back the centuries inside this remarkably atmospheric watering hole, with medieval
walls, low ceilings, wide plank floors and flickering candles. Grab one of the seats at the
tiny bar in front or slide into one of the table booths at the back, where you can enjoy good
wines by the glass, satisfying plates of stuffed peppers, salads, tostas (sandwiches) and
blood sausage with caramelised onions.

Amid white stone walls and a beamed ceiling, this buzzing, easygoing place serves a broad
selection of tapas as well as changing daily specials like cochinillo (roast suckling pig). A
smattering of beers from across the globe - Leffe Blond, Guinness, Brahma (Brazil) and Sol
(Mexico) - add to the appeal.

Gourmet sausage sandwiches are grilled to perfection at this friendly and appealing new eat-
ery just off Plaça Sant Jaume. You'll find around six different sausages on the menu includ-
ing seasonal varieties (like calçots in winter), plus homemade sauces, roasted potatoes,
Montseny craft beer and chocolate coulant (soufflé) for dessert.
