7 Camp Nou, Pedralbes & La Zona Alta
Several of Barcelona's most sacred sights nestle inside the huge expanse beyond
L'Eixample. One is the peaceful monastery of Pedralbes; the other is the great shrine to
Catalan football, Camp Nou. Other attractions include the amusement park and great views
atop Tibidabo, the wooded trails of Parc de Collserola, and a kid-friendly science museum.
8 Montjuïc, Poble Sec & Sant Antoni
The hillside overlooking the port has some of the city's finest art collections: the Museu Na-
cional d'Art de Catalunya, the Fundació Joan Miró and Caixaforum. Other galleries, gardens
and an imposing castle form part of the scenery. Just below Montjuïc lies the lively tapas
bars and eateries of Poble Sec, while the up-and-coming neighbourhood of Sant Antoni
draws the young and hip.
