Because of its size, Cheyenne has plenty of the major superstores, but there are also some
smaller and wonderful boutiques to check out. Bohemian Metals (314 W. 17th St., 307/

in handmade jewelry, including vintage Native American pieces, gemstones and minerals,
and fossils.
A wonderful place for browsing and shopping is the Cowgirls of the West Museum &
Emporium (205 W. 17th St., 307/638-4994), a nonprofit museum dedicated to informing
visitors about the contribution that women made to the settlement of the Old West and the
contributions being made by women today. The gift shop and museum (11am-4pm Mon.-
Sat., free) features Wyoming-made collectibles, jewelry, Western art, antiques, and wonder-
ful kids' items. Set in a beautiful, historic building, Wyoming Home (216 W. Lincolnway,
