Fishing
With the Wind River Range as an impressive backdrop to Lander, the fishing in this part
of the state varies from crystalline alpine lakes to small but productive rivers, including the
Wind River, Bull Lake Creek, the Sweetwater River, and various forks of the Popo Agie
River. Unlike most of the state, the fishing around Lander is exclusively wade-fishing.
