GETTING AROUND
From the airport, the Best Western, Comfort Inn, and Hampton Inn offer shuttle service.
There are also a number of car-rental agencies at the airport; the car-rental center is located
next to the baggage claim. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Dollar, Hertz, Thrifty, and
National have on-site counters.
The only ground transportation provider located in the terminal, Karst Stage (406/
556-3540 or 800/287-4759, www.karststage.com ) offers daily bus service in winter to Big
Sky, West Yellowstone, and Mammoth Hot Springs. Shuttles are by reservation only in non-
winter months.
Greater Valley Taxi (406/388-9999) has a courtesy phone next to the baggage claim
area. Rides into Bozeman cost $15-35, depending on whether you share the cab with an-
other customer. It is also a good option for getting around town while you are in Boze-

provides private van and SUV transportation to, from, and around Big Sky.

most popular eatery, The Mint Bar & Café, closed its doors in 2013, but this town has a
fighting spirit and is home to a number of good little restaurants.
One standout is Damasco's Pizzeria & Spaghetteria (90 W. Madison Ave., Ste. C, 406/
388-2724, www.damascos.net , 5pm-9pm Tues.-Sun., $15-22). The strip-mall location is
nondescript, but the authentic Italian cuisine is nothing short of mouthwatering. The wood-
fired brick oven is the centerpiece and cooks up marvelous pizzas.
The Fall Festival, normally held the third weekend of September, brings out the crowds
for a parade, a street dance, and a host of fun family activities. The Festival of Lights,
