In Seeley Lake, the local favorite is the lakefront Lindey's Prime Steak House (Hwy.

$22-28), where the steaks are of the same caliber as the great view. There is not much
on the menu besides steak, but meat lovers will be exceedingly happy with this authentic
Montana steak house. Another reliable spot for a meal in Seeley Lake almost any time of
day is the Filling Station Restaurant (3189 Hwy. 83, 406/677-2080, 11am-10pm Mon.-
Fri., 8am-10pm Sat.-Sun., $7-17); the bar (until 2am) offers karaoke on Friday and Saturday
nights. The award-winning menu and wine list in the Double Arrow Resort's Seasons Res-
taurant (301 Lodge Way, 2 miles south of Seeley Lake, 406/677-2777 or 800/468-0777,
www.doublearrowresort.com , $23-36) features classic country cuisine—from rattlesnake
and rabbit sausage to baby back ribs and bison tri-tip—in a welcoming and warm environ-
ment.
INFORMATION AND SERVICES
The Seeley Lake Chamber of Commerce (406/677-2880, www.seeleylakechamber.com )
is on Highway 83 at mile marker 12.5, just south of the town. The Swan Lake Chamber
of Commerce (70942 Hwy. 83, 406/886-2303) is located in the town of Swan Lake.
GETTING THERE
The Seeley-Swan Valley is a 91-mile corridor along Highway 83 between the Mission
Mountains to the west and the Swan Mountains to the east. From Missoula, Highway 200
leads to Highway 83. The distance from Missoula to Seeley Lake is 55 miles. From the
north, Highway 93 in Kalispell accesses Highway 82, which then turns into Highway 83.
From Kalispell to Swan Lake, the distance is 35 miles. From Swan Lake to Seeley Lake is
57 miles.
