North-central Montana encompasses much of the geographical diversity that defines the
state. There are vast plains along the Hi-Line (a stretch of the state that parallels Montana's
northernmost or “highest” railroad line), rolling agricultural fields in Montana's breadbas-
ket (the source of much of the state's wheat crop), and the Rockies practically erupting out
of the plains along the Rocky Mountain Front.
