You will only want to stay in Goulimime if necessary, as many hotels are basic and some
may not appeal to women. If you have transport, there is better accommodation outside
town.

Around the bus station and north of the post office are good areas for cafes and restaur-

La Plage Blanche

Westernised snack bar serves dishes ranging from pizzas, burgers and spaghetti to tajines
and pil-pil prawns. On Friday, join the locals and treat yourself to the couscous, while the
masses pray outside the mosque across the road.
