Hôtel Les Amandiers
( 0528 80 00 88; www.hotel-lesamandiers.com ; s/d Dh318/436; ) This kasbah-like hilltop
pile has 60 reasonably attractive rooms with small balconies making the most of the in-
credible views of the rock formations ringing Tafraoute. The pool and restaurant (set
menu Dh140) share the views; the bar is tucked away in a corner without any vistas, but
you can take drinks outside. The furniture is rather tired and the hotel needs a renovation,
but you may have the place to yourself.
