In-Depth Information
( 0535 86 40 00; www.michlifenifrane.com ; r from Dh4000; ) Overlooking Ifrane
from the north, this oversized ski lodge is one of Morocco's most luxurious hotels. Local
cedar is evident throughout the rather dark interior, with rooms echoing a luxury chalet.
The attention to detail goes as far as the carefully selected art decorating the walls. There
are two pools: one on the terrace for summer, and another indoors for winter, along with a
spa, gym and tennis courts.
Eating & Drinking
Several cafes and cheap eats cluster around the bus station area, where you'll also find the
market for fresh produce.
Café Restaurant la Rose
( 0555 56 62 15; 7 Rue de la Cascade; mains around Dh80, pizzas Dh60; noon-3pm & 7-10pm)
This small restaurant has always been popular in town for its Middle Atlas trout and tradi-
tional Moroccan fare.
