Protestant Cay rises from the turquoise waters of the harbor
just a one minute ferry ride (free for guests) from downtown.
Along with 55 guest rooms (each with a kitchenette), Hotel on
the Cay also offers the only beach in downtown Christiansted.
It's also enjoyed by guests from many nearby hotels.

This is one of our favorite budget-priced accommodations in the
Caribbean, thanks to sparkling clean rooms, an excellent snor-
kel trail, and the hotel's friendly on-site owners, Dick and
Marcy Pelton. St. Croix's newest hotel, the 46-room property is
located east of Christiansted just off the reef. All of the rooms
include a refrigerator, coffee maker, air conditioning, phones,
and many also include kitchenettes. The atmosphere here is
laid-back and comfortable, perfect for couples (and families) to
enjoy the tranquil east end of St. Croix and the snorkel trail in
the inlet just in front of the hotel.
Just a few steps from the hotel, the Green Cay Marina is home
to boats that offer daily tours to Buck Island as well as deep-sea
fishing excursions and scuba diving trips.
