Late June brings
Fun in the Sun
on tiny Salt Cay. The event is
a beauty pageant for the youngest residents of Salt Cay, along
with dances and local food. This celebration is a good way to
meet the handful of local residents who make this island home;
the festival has a real small-town feel.
In mid-August, dance to the sounds of the
Rake and Scrape
Music Festival
on Grand Turk. Like the name says, this event
features plenty of “rake and scape,” music produced using
drums and handsaws.
