From the action-packed waters off Orient Beach, the green
roofs of Esmeralda Resort are easy to spot. Fifteen villas, ac-
commodating 54 guest rooms, are sprinkled across the low hills
that rise up from Baie Orientale. Each villa includes its own
swimming pool; accommodations offer air conditioning, satel-
lite TV, telephones, fully equipped kitchenettes, and private

These two adjoining resorts, L'Habitation and Le Domain, are
located on the island's northeast coast, tucked into Marcel
Cove. Surrounded by a 150-acre nature preserve, the resort is
landscaped with bougainvillea, hibiscus, and oleander. Guest
rooms, with bright Caribbean colors, include 251 rooms at
L'Habitation with garden or marina views, and 145 rooms and
suites at the newer wing, Le Domaine. Facilities include swim-
ming pools, private white sand beach, shuttle service to casinos,
Philipsburg, and Marigot. Watersports activities include deep-
sea fishing, motorboating, sailing, catamaran, power, and
glass-bottom boating; scuba diving; waterskiing; canoeing; Jet
Skiing; kayaking, and more. Horseback riding, racquetball,
squash, and tennis are also available, as well as a fitness center.
