Just the Facts
Entry Requirements: Passports are required for citizens of
the UK and for all other visitors, except those from the US and
Canada, who may present a voter's registration card, natural-
ization papers, or a certified birth certificate (not a copy) in-
stead. All visitors must possess a valid return ticket.
Getting Around: Rental cars are available on both islands,
but be advised that driving is on the left side of the road. A visi-
tor's license is available from the Police Traffic Department for
EC $30. Excellent taxi and mini-bus service is available on St.
Kitts and Nevis.
Many couples take a day-trip to the other island aboard the pas-
senger ferry The Caribe Queen . The 45-minute crossing costs
about US $8 round-trip. Air St. Kitts Nevis (

St. Kitts; 869-469-9241 on Nevis) whisks visitors from island to
island in less than 10 minutes.
